February makes.....

Where did that month go? Not that it was quite the kind of month I want to see again for a long time. So the February make was started today....I suppose you could say it was conceived in February!

These makes were by my daughter, cherry bakewells, yum. Better get on tomorrow if my bear wants to be born in March and not April!

One of those days.....

.....a bit like life. Today its hubby's birthday, but.....it was also his Aunt's funeral. I was also lucky to win a runner up prize of Romantic homes magazine. It was kindly sent by Alison at Vintage Amythest. I shall save it for the weekend, something cheery. Tomorrow there is also another funeral. The mother of my daughters internet friend, so sad as she left three children. My heart goes out to them.

We shall go out for a meal later and I've told hubby we can go out at the weekend, we don't need an excuse for a curry and a few drinks but I do think we'll be raising a glass and toasting those lives and deaths that have touched us recently.
